This Friday, April 24, the Arecibo Observatory will celebrate 25 years of the Hubble Space Telescope. The center will open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The tickets price is $10.00 for adults and $6.00 for children. Puerto Rican students received federal research fellowship

Nineteen students from Puerto Rico received the prestigious federal Graduate Research Fellowship (GRFP) sponsored by the National Science Foundation (NSF). In this article, two of those 19 students from Puerto Rico speak about their gradute school plans after receiving GRFP-NSF.

Three students from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez received the 1st place in different categories at the Emerging Researchers National Conference (ERN) in STEM during February 19-21 in Washington DC. The ERN conference is sponsored by AAAS and NSF.
