Nineteen students from Puerto Rico received the prestigious federal Graduate Research Fellowship (GRFP) sponsored by the National Science Foundation (NSF). In this article, two of those 19 students from Puerto Rico speak about their gradute school plans after receiving GRFP-NSF.

Over 200 students participated from the first NanoDays, a nationational fair of educational programs about science and engineering at a nanoscale at the Arecibo Observatory, founded by the National Science Foundation (NSF).

Scientists at the Arecibo Observatory will calibrate the spatial climate satellite ExoCube.

The launching of the SMAP mission will be broadcast from 8:00am at www.nasa.gov/nasatv.
