Por esta razón que el implementar formas para obtener data es crucial para los investigadores y para el crecimiento del mundo. NanoSIMS es solo una de las maneras que el ser humano ha desarrollado para entender la materia.

One of the New Faces of Engineering at the international level is from UPR-Mayaguez. Yazeli Elizabeth Cruz Rivera, a first year graduate student in the Industrial Engineering Graduate Program was selected as one of the New Faces of Engineering 2016.

The FDA has recently aproved a device co-invented by Dr. Eduardo J. Juan García, Professor in the Deparment of Electric Engineering at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez. This device, developed to optimize artificial ventilation in neonatal and pediatric patients, will be moving to the comercialization stage.

The Puerto Rico Math Olympics, project that is led by the Mathematical Sciences Department at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus, will begin its 17th cycle. The participation exam is directed for students from 3rd to 11th grade of all schools and will available at www.ompr.pr until April 30, 2016.
