The Puerto Rican startup company iGenApps received approval for the patent of its method for the creation of apps from mobile devices for users with little or no technical knowledge.

Jennifer Conde Powers has created an app to teach kids to learn and speak Spanish.  The app was created by Cupcake digital company and is based on the “Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! program.

Thus one of the challenges Puerto Rico faces as a society is to promote the new literacy of the 21st century: knowing how read, think and write in our native language, in English and in computer programming languages.
