The UCS Science Network is launching a science advocacy mentorship for early career scientists; the Science Network Mentor Program. They want to bridge the gap between your academic pursuits and your passion for advocacy, policy, and social justice.

SAN JUAN, PR – Ciencia Puerto Rico (CienciaPR, www.cienciapr.org) was named one of five "Science Defenders" of 2018, for its recovery efforts after Hurricane Maria. The distinction was awarded by the Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS), a non-profit and leading organization advocating for evidence-based public policy that uses science to solve the most pressing problems on the planet.
