Once again students from public high schools around the country will be able to participate in the summer program “Experiment with PREM”, which will take place May 24-27 at the University of Puerto Rico - Cayey and June 2-10 at the University of Puerto Rico - Humacao.

A research conducted at the University of Puerto Rico at Cayey found that the mosquitos spreading the Chikungunya virus do not survive in colder temperatures, therefore places like San Juan and Guayama are at higher risk for spreading the virus.
