CURSO LATINOAMERICANO EN ANÁLISIS DE DATOS MULTIVARIADOS PARA CIENCIAS AMBIENTALES UPR MAYAGÜEZ, PR

El Departamento de Ciencias Marinas del Recinto Universitario de Mayagüez (RUM) de la Universidad de Puerto Rico (UPR) llevará a cabo el Primer Curso Latinoamericano y del Caribe en Análisis de Datos Multivariados usando PRIMER V7 & PERMANOVA add on. Dicho curso dará comienzo el día 23 de mayo y finalizará el 3 de junio de 2016 en la Isla de Magueyes, en Lajas Puerto Rico.

For the eight consecutive year, the Red Sísmica de Puerto Rico (RSPR), affiliated to the Geology Department at the University of Puerto Rico - Mayaguez, together with federal, local and regional agencies, will carry out the tsunami drill named CaribeWave 2016. This exercise will take place on Thursday, March 17, 2017 starting at 10:00 am.

Six students at RUM selected as University Innovation Fellows

Six students at the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez (RUM) were selected as University Innovation Fellows (UIF) from Epicenter. UIF is supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and Venturewell.

The students are: Jonathan Díaz Sepúlveda, Bryan Muñoz Vázquez, Emmanuel Oquendo, Angelisse Ramos Morales, Rodolfo Romañach and Jahannie Torres.
