Welcome to CienciaPR, an expert and resource network for all who are interested in science and Puerto Rico.
I am a senior at the University of Puerto Rico Mayagüez Campus. My major is in chemistry focusing on nanomaterial synthesis using earth-abundant metals for solar cell applications. My plan is to continue graduate studies more related to inorganic chemistry. I am also president of Come Colegial, ACS UPRM Chapters vice president and mentor for the Semillas de Triunfo Program.
As part of the NSF-Partnership for Research and Education in Materials (PREM) fellow under Dr. Joselyn del Pilar, I have researched chalcogenides-based nanomaterials and how they could improve existing solar cell fabrication.
