Welcome to CienciaPR, an expert and resource network for all who are interested in science and Puerto Rico.
My background is in architecture and landscape studies, with degrees from Cornell and MIT. I'm also interested in the philosophy and history of sciences as they relate to the general culture. In addition, I taught design and theory at Arqpoli (Universidad Politécnica, Hato Rey, Puerto Rico) from 2004 to 2006.
Fall 2006. PhD student at UC Berkeley, Department of Geography. Among my main fields in urbanism, urban geography and landscape studies, I often turn to the history of science to better understand contemporary thought and to history of the environment to understand ecological change over time.
