Seeking graduate student (or advanced undergrad) interested in geospatial and epidemiologic research experience at the intersection of urbanicity, climate change, and health. Required qualifications include:
• Spanish-language primary fluency / bilingual proficiency (or full professional proficiency) and familiarity with Latinx and/or Caribbean contexts
• Intermediate data entry and data cleaning skills
• Experience with ArcGIS mapping software and data analysis
• Interpersonal communication skills (e.g., active listening, problem-solving)
- Must receive academic credit for duration of internship/practicum
Tasks include residential address verification for research participants in a longitudinal cohort study located in Puerto Rico led by Dr. Josiemer Mattei as well as preliminary geospatial data analyses.
