Cientifico Latino's Graduate School Mentorship (GSMI) program will provide one-on-one guided mentorship for 100 STEM Master's and doctoral program applicants applying to graduate school this Fall 2026. Since 2019,GSMI has helped 580 students matriculate to graduate school. This program is supported by the Simons Foundation.
100 applicants will receive the following program benefits:
STEM mentor
Educational Curriculum on Applying to Graduate School
Access to example CVs & Personal Statements
Access to a Community of Scientists across the U.S.
Mock interviews
Application waivers and small scholarship fund
- Spend 1-2 hours a week between 9/1 - 12/15 to meet virtually with your assigned mentor
- Must apply to graduate school this Fall 2026
- Attend scholar orientation and welcome social in August
- Attend educational webinars on applying to graduate school
