Federal funding for scientific research is in trouble and the ASCB needs your help! Help show America what science really looks like by taking a picture of you and your lab mates and submitting it to the 2013 We Are Research campaign. Giving a face to science helps show our communities how decreased federal funding negatively impacts an important workforce in biomedical advances.

Five-year $700,000 awards for physician-scientists to bridge advanced postdoctoral/fellowship training and the early years of faculty service. Proposals must be in the area of basic biomedical, disease-oriented, or translational research.  Proposals in health services research or involving large-scale clinical trials are ineligible. Awards are made to degree-granting institutions in the U.S. or Canada on behalf of the awardee.

The BMaP-3 and the U54 PSM-Moffitt Cancer Center Partnership cordially invites the scientific community for the workshop on statistical analysis of tissue microarray (TMA) data. The goal of this workshop is to allow researchers to gain knowledge about TMA applications and statistical analysis.  The workshop which will be held September 30 (one day) to October 1st
