|4th ASM Conference on Enterococci
March 5 - 7, 2014 | Cartagena, Colombia
Abstract submission and registration are now open!
The emergence of antibiotic resistant bacteria is one of the greatest threats to human health in the 21st century. Among these bacteria, enterococci are one of the most challenging organisms in clinical settings. This ASM Conference will cover enterococcal genomics, pathogenesis of enterococcal infections, structure, evolution and transfer of extrachromosomal elements in enterococci, dynamics of enterococcal resistance determinants, novel mechanisms of resistance, and metabolism and ecology of enterococci. View Preliminary Program.
The program committee invites you to submit your latest research for consideration to one of the following abstract categories:
- Structure, evolution and transfer
- Dynamics resistance determinants
- Mechanisms of resistance
- Metabolism and ecology
