It is our pleasure to announce the Fourth Annual Meeting of the Puerto Rico Physiological Society which will be held on Saturday February 8th, 2014 at PSMHS.

The Puerto Rico Chapter of the American Physiological Society (APS) unites physiologists and students across the Island of Puerto Rico interested in the physiological sciences and in the advancement of the field through the discussion of ideas, issues, research initiatives, discoveries, publications, and novel developments. We highly encourage the local scientific community, particularly students, to register for this meeting and consider submitting an abstract by December 20, 2013. Basic or translational research related to physiological processes occurring within the body will be acceptable for submission. Awards will be given to the top three posters.
We look forward to your participation in this event which will focus on Exercise Physiology and its impact throughout the body, from 'molecules to systems'.
