The Pew Latin American Fellows Program in the Biomedical Sciences provides support for two years of postdoctoral training in leading laboratories in the United States. Fellows receive opportunities to advance their careers, collaborate with principal investigators in the U.S., and exchange knowledge with hundreds of Pew-supported scientists. Fellows are also awarded funds to help them start their own labs in Latin America.

*** Training in Puerto Rico will not be considered as US training for this program. Pew seeks to give opportunities to those who haven’t yet had the chance to study in the mainland US. Thus, people who have done their training in Puerto Rico are eligible and encouraged to apply.
