Biomedical Postdoctoral Programs at the University of Pennsylvania School is pleased to announce the award of an NIH IRACDA “University of Pennsylvania Postdoctoral Opportunities in Research and Teaching” (PENN-PORT). The PENN-PORT program offers biomedical postdocs an opportunity to develop teaching skills at a partner minority serving institution in addition to research training in a cutting edge laboratory under the direction of a PENN faculty member.

In addition, please submit a curriculum vitae, three letters of reference, and a one page description of past teaching experience, a commitment to an academic career in research that involves teaching, and an interest in under-represented minority education. Currently we are accepting applications for admission in August 2007 and 2008.
Eligible postdocs must provide proof of a doctoral degree and be either US Citizens or Permanent Residents.
