To all our research community:

During the week of February 4-8 Ponce School of Medicine (PSM) will host the Frontiers in Stem Cells in Cancer Course here at PSM, a collaboration between Magee Womens’ Research Institute and PSM. This course, funded by the National Cancer Institute, consists of lectures and hands-on laboratory exercises on stem cell development, culture and relatedtechniques as they relate to cancer but also other conditions. The clinical applications and ethical issues related to stem cells will also be addressed, and there will be opportunities for meeting and networking with key people in the field. The course brings to Ponce a renowned group of stem cell investigators and students from around the world, and we hope we can offer it again for the benefit of students from diverse backgrounds in 2015.

This email is to extend an invitation for you to attend any of the lectures of your interest, which will take place in Room 101, Academic Building, Main Campusfrom Monday February 4th to Friday February 8th in the mornings.
