The Keystone Symposia Fellows Program is part of the Diversity in Life Science Programs (DLSP) portfolio.  The DLSP is part of the Keystone Symposia’s comprehensive plan to promote, encourage, and support diversity programs for graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and early career faculty. Keystone Symposia is committed to producing high quality science meetings and providing training for biomedical trainees who are interested in attending Keystone Symposia conferences and receiving a mentored experience.  We are particularly committed to developing diversity candidates who are from underrepresented (UR) populations (i.e., African Americans/Black; Latinos/Hispanics; Native Americans/Native Alaskans; or Pacific Islanders), or disabled (from any ethnic/racial group).

This program requires participation in online study groups, onsite participation in Colorado at the June 2017 Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) meeting (June 16-18); January 2018 SAB meeting (January 18-21),* and the June 2018 SAB meeting (June 7-10).  Keystone Symposia does not provide a stipend, but will reimburse reasonable and documented expenses (per our travel reimbursement guidelines) for travel, lodging and meals to attend the SAB meetings held in Keystone, Colorado.  You are also committing to regular communication with DLSP staff, prior Fellows, and assigned cohort mentors.

If you have questions, please contact the DLSP director, Dr. Irelene P. Ricks at irelener@keystonesymposia.org or (970) 262-2669.
