Purpose of Position  

NKU seeks candidates who are committed to innovative teaching. We also seek to attract a culturally and academically diverse faculty who value working with a diverse student body. Faculty must be able to teach in academic programs within the College of Health and Human Services.

Primary Responsibilities     

Hosted by the College of Health and Human Services, CHHS- Diversity Faculty Fellow will teach a 9 credit load each semester for the academic year. This equates to 3 courses each semester in a subject related to their research and they will have 3 credit hours each semester to devote to becoming an effective teacher in their discipline.

Successful candidates receive temporary full-time non-tenure-track faculty appointments (August 1 – May 31) and are eligible for benefits, including health insurance. In addition to salary, Fellows receive mentoring, support for research, professional travel, and other related expenses.

Qualifications

Doctorate in a related field or ABD. Applicants must have passed all comprehensive examinations and be at the dissertation writing stage.
