The Center for STEM+eXcellence at Morehead State University in Kentucky is accepting applications for a full-time position as an Admission, Recruitment and Public Outreach Manager. The anticipated start date is April 3, 2023. 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES: Managing all community outreach activities. Representing the Center and work with other staff members to develop and implement initiatives that increase Center visibility and awareness to education administrators, educators, students, parents, and the public in the local community and state-wide. Managing all recruitment activities and attracts potential program participants for the Center’s STEM+X programs.
 
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in STEM, communications, marketing, or other related fields; have 2 years of Public Outreach experience or STEM program recruitment experience; and have outstanding written communication and presentation skills.
 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience communicating STEM content with children, parents, educators, and the public. Needs to be self-motivated, friendly, enthusiastic, and community driven. Needs to be someone equipped with a positive attitude and readiness to be a team player. Strong experience preparing reports.
