We want to hear from fellow Puerto Rico residents about their experience of sharing resources during hurricanes, earthquakes, and other disasters. Please help us spread the word about this study.

With support from the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the Natural Hazards Center at University of Colorado, Boulder, the Pacific Urban Resilience Lab (PURL) and the National Disaster Preparedness Training Center (ndptc.hawaii.edu) at the University of Hawaii is conducting research on sharing behaviors during disasters. We are interested in the social, cultural, and institutional factors that promote sharing of vital resources before, during, and after disruptive events. Our research will be used to support the development of policies, education and training to enhance community resilience. We seek your input and support of this research. The research protocol has been reviewed and approved by the Human Studies Program, Office of Research Compliance at the University of Hawaii. The closing date of the survey is Friday, April 30, 2021.
