The ERN Conference
Summer 2018 Video Contest
is extended to August 10th!

Display your passion and creativity for science in a short video. We’re looking for videos to explain an important scientific concept in a digestible form for an audience of middle school students, high school students, or otherwise lay person. The videos should come across as engaging, entertaining, and innovative. The best videos will insightfully reveal the scientific content and show artistry to create a compelling spectacle with quality execution. We look forward to seeing what you come up with!

Who’s Eligible?
AAAS seeks to invite all university-level students participating in NSF Human Resources and Development (HRD) Programs to submit a video. This includes but is not limited to: undergraduate and graduate students conducting research that also participate in the NSF HRD, REU, and/or Engineering Directorate Programs. Participants may enter as a team of students as or as an individual.

    • Visuals must be tied to that concept.

From there, the six videos will be screened at the ERN 2019 Conference where the winner announcements will be made.

Prize Details
All six finalists will receive a complimentary 1-year AAAS student membership. Up to three participants from each winning group will receive a travel award for the ERN 2019 Conference.
