Querido educador/a,

==============================

Hello Science-loving teacher,

For the next few weeks, we need your help encouraging students 13-18 to try something that might change the world. This year’s Google Science Fair offers that chance.

We’ve heard from educators around the world who are encouraging their students to try. Here’s what they’ve shared about supporting budding scientists...

“Share the love and thrill YOU have for science. Sharing your passion will make them feel okay about getting excited over an electron.” - Deborah Mullan, Michigan, US

“Allow them to explore. You never know what might crop up while experimenting” - Vrad Subramanium, India

Got a good tip of your own? Share it on Google+ or Twitter with the hashtag #GSF2015.

More tips for encouraging students:

1. Get those creative juices flowing. Encourage your students to spend time with the Idea Springboard to turn their passions and interests into experiments.

2. Tune into inspiring live science. Check out our YouTube channel to see past finalists and scientists exploring topics like robots and Crittercams!

3. Teach a lesson that includes the Science Fair. Use one of our lesson plans or worksheets in your curriculum to help inspire your students explore their passion for science.

4. Hang up science swag. Print these nifty posters to put up in your classroom and around your school.

5. Get recognized. When students submit their projects, they'll have the option to nominate an inspiring educator who encouraged them to try. One lucky teacher will win the Inspiring Educator Award with $15,000 in prizes. That could be you!

6. Stay in the know. Follow us on YouTube, Google+, and Instagram to hear more about the Google Science Fair competition prizes, timelines and final event.

Now let's go help kids change the world.
