The Biology Graduate Program of the University of Vermont seeks PhD graduate student applicants interested in integrative, cutting-edge research in neuroscience, cell biology, ecology, and evolution.  We provide comprehensive research and career mentoring to ensure your success upon graduation, including preparing students to teach.  Please examine the faculty research programs at www.uvm.edu~biology and communicate directly with the faculty members to learn more. Students have the opportunity to use state of the art genomics, proteomics, and bioinformatics facilities and participate in field studies around the world.  Our students go on to careers in university level academia, private sector, state and federal government, college teaching and many other careers.
