Puertorriqueño confirmado en prestigiosa posición en el Depto de Servicios de Salud de los EEUU

Joxel García, MD MBA, puertorriqueño de Arecibo, y anterior director diputado de la Oficina Panamericana de Salud (OPS ó PAHO), acaba de ser confirmado como Secretario Asistente de Salud en el Depto de Salud y Servicios Humanos de los Estados Unidos (HHS). Esta es una posición de mucha altura dentro de HHS ya que sirve como el consejero principal para asuntos de salud pública.
