The Request for Applications for the Simons Foundation Independence Awards are now open! These awards are offered through the Simons Foundation Autism Research Initiative (SFARI), the Simons Collaboration on the Global Brain (SCGB) and the Simons Collaboration on Plasticity and the Aging Brain (SCPAB). The awards support early career scientists as they transition from mentored training to their independent research professorships. The SFARI Bridge to Independence Award Program welcomes applications from all scientists interested in autism research, and encourages applications from individuals from diverse backgrounds underrepresented in neuroscience research. The SCGB and SCPAB Transition to Independence Awards seek to support individuals from diverse backgrounds underrepresented in neuroscience research. Please share this event with early-career scientists who may be interested. Applications for the three programs are due on February 16, 2023, with the final selection of fellows expected in June 2023.
