Washington University School of Medicine recruiting Compass scholars

Applications are now open for the spring 2023 Compass cohort, which begins on February 20!

Compass is a remote training program for biomedical junior faculty and postdocs who want to learn essential practices to lead and manage their labs. Scholars will also explore how prioritizing their own well-being supports leadership and career success. Scholars will learn with peers, self-reflect, and explore new approaches to their work. This NIH-funded program focuses on practical skills and resources that are immediately applicable to program scholars. There is no cost to participate.

Compass includes both independent and team-based learning, as well as several live virtual events. The cohort launches on February 20, and the foundational training will run for 10 weeks. Compass balances structure and flexibility to meet the needs of busy researchers. After the foundational training, scholars remain a member of the Compass community and receive ongoing mentoring. https://researchercompass.org/.
