Estudian transmisión del dengue por transfusiones de sangre

Hace alrededor de siete años la Cruz Roja Americana en conjunto con el Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) en Puerto Rico inició una investigación científica en torno a la transmisión del virus del dengue a través de transfusiones de sangre.

Algunos de los resultados de esa investigación fueron presentados este sábado durante el simposio y foro educativo, Transfusiones y el Manejo de la Sangre y Productos Derivados, que se realizó en el Centro de Convenciones de Puerto Rico.
