ENHANCING VIROLOGY TRAINING SUMMER RESEARCH PROGRAM

The Meharry ENVIT Program is a 10-week virology research training that includes didactic lectures in fundamentals of virology and career-development topics for a virology-focused research and education career. The overall goal of “Enhancing Virology Training (ENVIT) through Summer Research” is to prepare and increase the number of underrepresented minority (URM) students in virology-focused careers through didactic, hands-on, mentored, and career-development training.

Apply to the Woods Hole Partnership Education Program (PEP)

PEP is a ten-week intern program hosted by six Woods Hole Science Institutions in collaboration with the University of Maryland, Eastern Shore (UMES). The program targets undergraduates (especially rising juniors and seniors) and runs May 31 through August 7.

The Genomics Summer Research for Minorities (GSRM) internship provides a ten-week summer research program for undergraduate students interested in genomics research, personalized medicine and biosciences. The GSRM is funded by an NIH Research Education Program (R25) and supported by the University of Utah Department of Pediatrics.

interested in participating in our program, Opportunities in Genomics
Research (OGR). OGR programs are directed at increasing the number of
underrepresented students who pursue Ph.D.'s in genomics and related
fields. These programs provide students with a mentored research
experience at Washington University, as well as other engaging activities
to prepare students for competitive Ph.D. programs.
