The University of Alabama at Birmingham invites applications for a junior level tenure-track research faculty position (PhD, MD, MD PhD) in the Division of Pain Medicine in the Department of Anesthesiology. Academic rank and salary commensurate with experience. The department is especially interested in applicants with a history of published research related to pain mechanisms, neural excitability, and receptor-channel neurophysiology.

Estudiantes de los diversos bachilleratos de la Universidad de Puerto Rico, Recinto de Río Piedras, podrán participaran en el Primer Encuentro Subgraduado de Investigación y Creación (PESIC), que realizará el proyecto Iniciativas de Investigación y Actividad Creativa Subgraduadas (iNAS) en abril de 2013.

Según informó una circular, este evento contará con “sesiones plenarias y actividades concurrentes: paneles, sesiones de afiches académicos (posters), exhibiciones de arte, lecturas de textos literarios y talleres, entre otros”.
