Astronomy Summer internship for PR undergraduates!

 Requirements:

-Interest in astronomy

-Good academic standing

-Availability from June 1 - August 1

 

Hands-on research projects in radio spectroscopy of the galactic interstellar medium and Radio Frequency Interference mitigation techniques

 

Career development seminars, conference participation, and mentoring from field experts

 

Workshops in infrared and radio astronomy, and collaborative activities with students and faculty from around PR!

 

Learn from a consortium of UPR, Yale, and UCF astrophysicists about our Universe, fundamentals of radio telescopes, computer programming, data analysis, presentation skills, and more.

 

Open until May 20 or until filled

Hybrid modality (required online and in present meetings)

Full-time 8-week paid program (starting June 1)
