Climate Central is seeking a Civic Science Fellow to serve as our Spanish-Language Engagement Fellow. This 18-month fellowship will be part of the Civic Science Fellows Program, supported by the Rita Allen Foundation (see more below). The Fellow will help us better understand and serve Spanish-language media and the communities they reach, many of whom are on the frontlines of climate change.
The Spanish-Language Engagement Fellow will engage deeply with journalists, meteorologists, social media content creators, scientists, and organizations communicating with Hispanic/Latino communities, to help them drive public understanding about climate change. Over 18 months, they will build relationships and help Climate Central transform the resources and analyses we offer to better serve these communicators and their audiences.
