Currently, I am an undergraduate student of Industrial Chemistry with an Associate Degree in Chemical Technology at the University of Puerto Rico at Humacao. As an undergraduate science student, I have critical and analytical thinking, good communication, and the ability to work individually or in groups. I am currently part of the MARC U-STAR Program at the University of Puerto Rico in Humacao, and I am dedicated to researching within the Campus. On the other hand, some of my goals are to pursue a Ph.D. in Pharmacology.

Información de proyecto:
Patient zero for the Coronavirus outbreak was suspected to live in Wuhan, China. The first cases of patients infected by the coronavirus were reported at the end of December 2019 by the Wuhan Municipal Health Commission. Nowadays it has spread to all continents except Antarctic. Currently, there are twenty Coronavirus vaccines being developed, although it will take about eighteen months to be tested in clinical trials.
The objective of this study is to develop a compartment model to study the effects of the vaccines in the spread, control, and management of the Coronavirus. In particular, the role played by the vaccination cover rate and vaccine failure.
