I worked for seven years in the laboratory of Professor Doug Melton at Harvard University. I worked as a Research Assistant in various projects related to the developmental biology of the pancreas. In addition, I participated in research exploring the differentiation of human embryonic stem cells into pancreatic beta (insulin-producing) cells. A project that is ongoing in the lab.
