We are searching for one extraordinary individual to lead its nextstage of growth in delivering its mission.Managing Director The Opportunity: - Reporting directly to, and in collaboration with, the Board of Directors, lead all efforts for the Group’s three key initiatives: Fund of Funds Management, The Guayacan Center and the Puerto Rico Venture Forum. - Oversee all aspects of the existing private equity fund of funds under management as well as leadefforts in raising additional funds in Puerto Rico and the Hispanic market. - Lead the continued growth and development of The Guayacan Center focusing on supporting thegrowth of entrepreneurship in Puerto Rico and the private equity market supporting thoseentrepreneurs. - Oversee all activities of the Venture Forum and EnterPRize and their integration with the GuayacanCenter. - Develop and manage relationships with local and global alliance partners including, world classuniversities, entrepreneurship centers, foundations, private and public sector partners. The Requirements: - A commitment and passion for leading change and delivering world class initiatives in private equitymanagement, information resources, professional development and education, advocacy and promotionand new venture creation. - A demonstrable track record of creating economic value through innovative ventures in anentrepreneurial or corporate setting. - Extensive knowledge of the Puerto Rico and Hispanic entrepreneurial and private equity marketplaceincluding strong relationships with leading entrepreneurs, investors, financial services providers and otherkey constituencies. - Appropriate educational and professional development credentials with at least 15+ years experiencedemonstrating above mentioned qualifications.
