GeneGo is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented scientist with a biology background to participate in a cell line annotation project for our client. Primary job responsibilities will include manual annotation of cell line properties in a database using controlled vocabularies. Close communication with scientists and IT professionals from a variety of departments may be required. Experience in cell culture or cell-based assays is highly desirable.

Changes to DSM

Proposed changes to the Diagnostic and Static Manual of Mental Disorders include taking into account environmental factors when diagnosing mental disorders, a new scale to measure the severity of cases, and consolidating autism diagnoses, among other things. A draft of the new Manual can be seen here and comments can be made until April 20th. The new document will become effective on 2013.
