Environmentalists sue the Governor of Puerto Rico to save the Northeastern Ecological Corridor

The Coalition Pro the Northeastern Ecological Corridor sued Luis Fortuño, the governor of Puerto Rico and several State agencies asking them to reinstate the Natural Reserve of the Northeastern Ecological Corridor. Last October, the governor gave out an executive order to downsize the natural reserve and the Coalition wants this order nullified.

The Puerto Rico Conservation Trust has created the Map Of Life, an initiative that integrates environmental preservation practices and geographic data to have a general sense of the state of our ecosystems. This Map will be an invaluable scientific tool for future generations.
