TENURE TRACK ASSISTANT PROFESSOR - NEW MEXICO TECH 

The New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology (New Mexico Tech) seeks a tenure track Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering, beginning August 2018. A BS and PhD in chemical engineering or a closely related field are required. All research areas will be considered. Applicants should submit a CV, research plan indicating equipment needs, statement of teaching philosophy and interests, and list of 3 references as one pdf. (Candidates qualified beyond the Assistant Professor level will be considered at the Associate Professor level.) The Chemical Engineering program at New Mexico Tech is accredited by the engineering accreditation commission (EAC) of ABET. Faculty in the department advise graduate students through the M.S. and Ph.D. programs in Materials Engineering. New Mexico Tech is a science and engineering university composed of more than 2000 undergraduate and graduate students located in Socorro, New Mexico. 

Located in the colorful and historic Rio Grande valley one hour south of Albuquerque, New Mexico Tech has a beautifully-landscaped green campus with ample outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and rock climbing nearby.
