Call for Abstracts: Latinos and Alzheimer's Disease Symposium

Submission Deadline: October 6th, 11:59 PM US Eastern Daylight Time. All abstracts must be submitted by this time to be considered. No late submissions are accepted, without exception.
General Guidelines for Abstracts:
- Abstracts must be written in English
- Abstracts may come from any area of Alzheimer's disease research
- Research that represents a collaborative effort and/or work that has been presented at other meetings is welcome
- All submissions will be peer-reviewed by the Scientific Program Committee and authors will be notified via e-mail of abstract decisions by November 10, 2017
- Please note that presenters are required to register for the meeting and pay the appropriate meeting registration fees _discounts for student registration

Submission Instructions
- Please submit abstracts by e-mail to mundos@mgh.harvard.edu. Abstracts may be sent in the text of the e-mail or in an attached word document
- Indicate whether the abstract is for a poster or oral presentation
- Indicate if the presenting author is a student/postdoctoral fellow
- Approximate word count should be less than 300 words
- Please provide all of the following in your submission:
- Author(s)
- Affiliation(s)
- Corresponding email address
- Title of Poster/Paper
- A theme or topic for the abstract (please see list below)
- Abstract
- Background
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusions
- Abstracts for oral presentations must be sent along with presenter's CV
Oral Presentation:
- Each abstract will be allotted 12-15 minutes for oral presentation and audience discussion. A moderator will adhere to these time limits to allow time for discussion among the presenters and the audience
- Oral sessions are comprised f six presentations per oral session and are grouped by the Program Committee Chair
- Accepted oral presentations will be scheduled for either day of the Symposium
- Submitted oral presentation abstracts that are not selected may be considered for a poster presentation
Poster sessions:
- Accepted posters will be scheduled on February 23, 2017
- Poster presenters will stay with their poster for the duration of the poster session (approximately 60-90 minutes)

- Latinos and Alzheimer's disease: assessment, diagnosis and prognosis
- Latinos and biomarkers of Alzheimer's disease
- Public health and psychosocial interventions for Latinos with Alzheimer's disease
