The Department of Psychology invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level to start Fall 2012. Candidates will be expected to carry on a vigorous program of grant-supported research, actively participate in graduate training in neuroscience, and teach at the graduate and undergraduate level. A Ph.D. and postdoctoral training in behavioral neuroscience or a related field is required. Area of specialization is open, but preference will be given to applicants with expertise in molecular/cellular techniques who will strengthen interdisciplinary/translational research and training associated with Texas A&M University’s new Institute for Neuroscience.
