You may be awarded with 2 years and have the chance to renew for a third one with a success rate of 73%! -----------I was awarded with 2 years of loan repayments and with an additional year in the renewal. The NIH deposited ~$4,000 every 3 months straight into my loaner! At the end of Year 3, my balance was decreased in an 80%!!! The application process is fairly easy: you would need to submit your Biosketch, Personal statement, describe your Research activities, a statement from your research supervisor confirming your research activities, and a few other forms, ALL electronically. Please visit the website http://www.lrp.nih.gov for details. I am also willing to answer additional questions and/or assist you during this process. MENTORS: Please spread the voice over your mentees!
