The NORS Foodborne and Animal Contact Team is hiring two ORISE Fellowship positions: an ERA and a Surveillance Epidemiologist. The NORS Team collects about 800 foodborne and animal contact outbreak reports each year from state health departments and analyzes them to assess trends and to provide information on the sources of enteric infections. Outbreak surveillance reports inform creation of prevention measures and policies by providing insight into the pathogens, vehicles, populations, and circumstances linked with outbreaks.
