An opportunity is available at The MITRE Corporation (www.mitre.org) for a postdoctoral candidate in support of a MITRE Sponsored Research program. The MITRE Corporation is a not-for-profit organization chartered to work in the public interest. This applied research opportunity focuses on the development and testing of technologies for the identification of RNA viruses. Innovative cell culture and antibody based detection approaches will be explored. Experience in molecular virology and recombinant techniques are strongly recommended. The laboratory is located at our McLean site and with close proximity to bio-research institutions engaged in these efforts. This position is available immediately. Completion of Ph.D. within the last two years preferred.
