The NSF REU: PR-CLIMB program is a 9-week research internship program for undergraduate students interested in chemistry-related sciences. This program exposes students to interdisciplinary projects, professional development opportunities, and hands-on technical workshops. Students learn how many of these projects relate to the restructuring of Puerto Rico's infrastructure and get a taste of the island's rich culture. The program provides:

  • $4,500 stipend and some additional travel and per diem funds; students do not pay for travel to and from the program.
  • Free dorm housing.
