Les envio este link sobre un NIMH RFA referente a la creación de "mentoring networks" que va muy a la par con iniciativas creadas por varios miembros de esta comunidad. Es especifico para mental health related researchers. Se ha hablado mucho de la necesidad de ampliar el numero de minorías en nuestro campo y esta es una de las iniciativas creadas para apoyar el aumento de la población dentro del campo. http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/rfa-files/RFA-MH-10-050.html#SectionI Responsive applications will be distinguished by an innovative plan to accomplish the following, minimal objectives during the two-year, U24 project period: develop a leadership and administrative structure for the network develop an infrastructure (physical and/or virtual) for the mentoring network that spans institutions/organizations and thus would serve as the basis for a national mentoring network in the chosen scientific content area develop content and tools appropriate to the goals of the mentoring network identify a pool of qualified researchers who meet the network’s eligibility criteria and commit to serve as mentors formulate a recruitment plan that will provide a sufficient pool of potential high-quality protégés who meet the network’s eligibility criteria and formulate a retention plan that will serve the stated goals of the mentoring network develop procedures for standardization of mentoring activities and outcomes identify a set of outcome measures that will be used to assess whether this planning grant has achieved its objectives pilot the network Saludos, Javi
