STEAM Communication Fellowship, Ocean Exploration Trust

 The December 13th deadline for the STEAM Communication Fellowship with the Ocean Exploration Trust is quickly approaching. Please consider submitting an application if you are interested in the incredible opportunity to join our team aboard Exploration Vessel Nautilus or a partner ship of exploration as we explore the Caribbean Sea, Gulf of Mexico, and the Black Sea in 2014. 

 Formal and informal educators selected to participate in this program serve as ambassadors for ocean exploration by sharing the excitement of exploration and research with students and public audiences in their communities and around the world. This yearlong Fellowship begins with a training workshop at the University of Rhode Island Graduate School of Oceanography in March 2014 followed by 1-3 weeks aboard an oceanographic expedition between May and November 2014. All travel, room and board costs associated with this program are covered for accepted Fellows. Professional development credits may be obtained from the University of Rhode Island for participation in this Fellowship.
