More than eight years of experience in Applied and Operational Health Physics.
Functioned as Radiation Safety Officer for commercial radioactive waste broker.
Managed agreement-state radioactive material licenses for the states of Kentucky and Tennessee.
Managed project personnel and auxiliary personnel during radiological activities.
Developed, oversaw, and directed radiological projects (>$250,000) involving high dose and activity (>700 Ci).
Developed and administrated trainings, procedures and plans for regulatory compliance.
Performed audits of Quality Assurance Programs and Radiation Protection Programs.
Provided health physics coverage and oversaw radiological aspects of reactor maintenance evolutions, reactor and cyclotron radioisotope production, radiological characterization for waste disposal and license termination and regulatory compliance.
Designed, implemented and oversaw MARSSIM-typed surveys for license termination.
Served on the Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU) ALARA Committee (May 2012 – Present), University of Missouri Research Reactor (MURR) Safety Oversight Committee (2006-2010) and MURR’s Facility Emergency Organization (2005-2010).
