Melitza Crespo-Medina presenting. Twitter is a great tool for US. Our workshop was featured in the Azores Newspaper

The brief definition of the Deep Carbon Observatory according to their website (deepcarbon.net) is - "DCO is a global community of multi-disciplinary scientists unlocking the inner secrets of Earth through investigations into life, energy, and the fundamentally unique chemistry of carbon."

As the definition suggests, it is a very diverse goup of scientists from all over the world that have one thing in common: their interest for the study of Carbon.

With initiatives like the Early Career Workshop, the DCO promotes the exchange of ideas and experiences between scientist in early stages of their careers; a very powerful opportunity!

You can follow the incidence of the 2015 DCO Early Career Scientist Workshop using the #DCOECS15 on Twiteer and following @deepcarb
