The Puerto Rico Aeronautical and Aeroespacial Institute, part of the University of Puerto Rico, Aguadilla Campus, has opened the new enrollment period for the “Base Aircraft Overhaul Program” (CAT-A) certification project, developed in collaboration with Lufthansa Technik Puerto Rico.

The proliferation of establishments with coffee as the main attraction is surprising in these moments when agricultural and environmental authorities are warning about the negative effects of global warming on the coffee industry. Appreciation for this gastronomic treasure attracts tourism in Puerto Rico, from both internal and external travelers.

A group of neuroscientists, lead by Fabricio DoMonte and Gregory Quirk,  at the University of Puerto Rico - Medical Science Campus, revealed how the brain reacts to a frustrating event. According to the scientists a subcortical region of the brain is activated during moments of frustration.
