El 11 de octubre de 1918 hubo en Puerto Rico un terremoto de magnitud 7.3, que generó un tsunami, matando a unas 116 personas, entre ellas 40 como consecuencia directa de las olas. (Suministrada / redsismica.uprm.edu)
